IFACES 2010 An International Collaborative Learning Experience
Together with Frisch High School in New Jersey, Neveh Channah's tenth grade English Speakers are proud to be embarking on a quest to define our identities as citizens of our own communities. In the course of the year, we plan to study literature, interview immigrants and reflect on how we can effect social change in our society.
Check out the following videos to see how people around the world are voting with their feet for a better world.
Here is a recent write-up about our project in a Bergen County newspaper.
A BIT OF HISTORY:
Seven years ago, Neveh Channah launched its first international project with a school in New York. We shared insights into Holocaust literature, and got to know each other through an online forum. Since then, we have participated in five more successful international collaborative learning experiences, where we shared our lives literature and culture with colleagues in Montreal, Canada and Atlanta, Georgia. We have grown in our understanding of cultures, religions, and certainly enriched our English language abilities through these exciting exchanges. Thanks to Web 2.0 technology, the interactive part of this exchange just gets more exciting! Follow these links to view previous projects.
